Reissued as a 25th anniversary edition! Formed in 1993 by Matt Sweeney, James Lo, Clay Tarver, and Scott Marshall, the quartet has been a part of the label's golden era in the 90s alongside Pavement and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. The four-piece, formed by Scott Marshall and Ray Tarver, is an innovative guitar-rock band that gained a huge following in later generations as outsiders. Including the popular "Break Up Your Band," which intertwines heavy riffs with freaky arpeggios and alternately explodes with emotional melodies and power chords, the album features a total of nine songs that still make you groan with their outstanding arrangements and each member's playability.The reissue also includes four additional tracks from the "Pentagram Ring" EP, which was released in the same year and is being reissued for the first time on vinyl. 25 years later, this is the most powerful version of the US alternative milestone that has never faded. The most powerful version of the "Pentagram Ring" EP has been remastered by Greg Calbi, the master of the art.
