The Studio Collection Remastered, a series of 16 studio albums by Iron Maiden, the Ultimate Metal act from the U.K., will be released with the latest remastered recordings, This means that all 16 studio albums they have released to date have been released as digipak CDs with the latest remastered material. Now, the "Remastered Series" enters a new phase...! Now that the remastering series of all studio albums has been completed, the fifth series of live albums will be released, also with the latest remastered sound and digipak specifications! The two albums selected for this fifth installment of the series are "LIVE AFTER DEATH," released in 1985, which has earned a reputation as "the best live album," and 2002's "ROCK IN RIO" released in 2002. The Studio Collection Remastered series has released collector's editions of each title from the first to the fourth volume, each including a 1/24th scale figure and a special patch, and this fifth volume will be released in the same way with a figure and patch. The collector's edition with a figure and patch will be released for the fifth volume as well. The collector's edition chosen this time is... "LIVE AFTER DEATH"! Iron Maiden has been releasing an analog series in 2014 and 2017, and in 2015 they released a high-resolution digital version of the album, but this "The Studio Collection Remastered" series is the latest remastered version of the album on CD.Only "The Book of Souls", released in 2015, uses the original masters, but like the other albums in the series, this is the first time it is available in a digipak.
