Simon And Garfunkel

Description:

The folk duo formed by Jewish-Americans Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel reached the pinnacle of the pop music scene in the 1960s with numerous hit songs. Their archive of live performances from their heyday is finally available on CD!

Simon & Garfunkel were in charge of the music for the movie "THE GRADUATE - Graduation," which was released in December 1967, and their hit song 'THE SOUND OF SILENCE' became a worldwide smash hit and brought them to the top of the music scene. In 1968, during their U.S. tour, the Los Angeles concert on August 23 of the same year was recorded and broadcast for a special program on PBS. This live album is based on the recordings from this broadcast and captures the concert in its entirety, including cover songs and encores.
The philosophical lyrics and songs that won a strong following, as well as the two musicians' harmonious performance, are reproduced in perfect condition in this concert, and even now, more than half a century later, they have not faded away, and the content is still wonderful!
