"HailHallucinator," the fourth album released in 2022 by the New York, U.S.-based post-hardcore band PilotToGunner, is being reissued in 2026. This long-awaited first-ever CD release features completely redesigned artwork and includes the 2003 demo “TheProduct” as a bonus track. Although the band’s history dates back nearly 30 years—traceable to their predecessor, Madeline—there is absolutely no trace of the complacency or nostalgia often associated with veteran acts. Centered on high-energy indie rock and razor-sharp post-hardcore, their songwriting—which weaves in odd time signatures, rhythm changes, and intricate guitar arrangements while always prioritizing the intensity of the songs and emotional outbursts—is simply breathtaking.
