Kiyoshi Hikawa Sings Hibari Misora This Hibari Misora medley was performed during the kayō music shows held as part of Kiyoshi Hikawa’s special concert series from January to April 2026. The performance, underpinned by respect and expressive artistry, received high praise. The year 2026 marked the 80th anniversary of Hibari Misora’s career in the entertainment industry, and to commemorate this milestone, Kiyoshi Hikawa produced a cover album of Hibari Misora’s songs under the concept “Kiyoshi Hikawa Sings Hibari Misora.” For this album, he has re-recorded Hibari Misora’s signature songs, including “Like the Flow of a River,” “Disheveled Hair,” and “Sad Sake.” The tracks included are not only definitive versions of Hibari Misora’s songs but also make for a rich cover album where listeners can enjoy Kiyoshi Hikawa’s distinctive vocals, imbued with respect and affection for this great singer.
