The band’s name originates from a group of drinking buddies—including Alice Cooper, John Lennon, Keith Moon, and Harry Nilsson—who gathered at the legendary Los Angeles club “Rainbow Bar & Grill” in the early 1970s. With their 2015 debut album, they paid tribute to late rock legends through covers, while their 2019 album *Rise* focused on original songs, proving their mettle as a full-fledged rock band. This album features the complete recording of their approximately 90-minute electrifying performance at the world-renowned Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. Eschewing excessive arrangements, they bring a ’70s rock show back to life for the modern era with the dynamism and groove unique to live performances. In addition to classics like Spirit’s “I Got a Line on You” and Love’s “7 and 7 Is,” the album features such iconic tracks as The Who’s “Baba O’Riley,” David Bowie’s “Heroes,” AC/DC’s “The Jack,” and Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion.” The previously unreleased recording of Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades” serves as a passionate tribute to Lemmy.
