"Apples For Isaac" is a studio album featuring new songs—the first in over a decade for Echo & The Bunnymen. Having performed countless classics around the world for many years, the band has reexamined its essence and created an album that combines boldness with subtlety. While their previous album, 2018’s *The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon* (released by BMG), reimagined their early classics, this new album marks a fresh start with entirely new material. From the moment the opening track “Take Me By the Hand” begins to play, it’s clear that none of the urgency and energy reminiscent of their early work has been lost. The lead single, “Brussels Is Haunted,” while themed around the ghosts of the past, is a track marked by the band’s pride as pioneers of post-punk and a powerful, hopeful chorus. It serves as a symbol of the album as a whole. Additionally, Clem Burke (Blondie) contributed to all but one of the tracks on this album. The band has dedicated the following message to him, a longtime friend who sadly passed away during the production process: “Clem Burke, the legendary drummer. A longtime friend of Mac (Ian McCulloch), he was an indispensable part of this album’s production. And yet, he left us before it was finished… We love you, Clem.” Black vinyl 1LP edition
