A collection of rare and valuable existing recordings including singles released before his debut on Decca's Durham Records, their alternate versions, demos, and acetates!
The definitive collection of all 6 singles (12 tracks) released by David Bowie before his debut on Decca's Dellam Records, all in their original single versions, as well as other versions, unreleased demos & acetates, and other rare pre-debut sound sources are now available.

The R&B rock sound influenced by the British bands and mod scene of the time, and the vocals of the fresh 17-year-old Bowie. These early recordings were produced by the talented producer Shel Talmy and recorded on prestigious labels such as Decca, Parlophone, and Pye Records, and the quality of the recordings is outstanding! The quality of the recordings is outstanding, and the engineer is Glyn Johns, known for his work with The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, ZEP, and many others.

The debut single "Liza Jane" under the name of Davy Jones & The King Bees and "I Pity The Fool" under the name of "The Mannish Boys" include Jimmy Page's guitar solo! By the time he recorded with The Lower Third and The Buzz, his unique Bowie-esque melodies were already visible, and you could hear the sparkle of his unconcealed talent.

However, it was an unfortunate period that did not lead to any hits. Bowie left demo recordings for several record labels, and 12 precious demo tracks from the acetate recordings are included here. Silly Boy Blue" (Silly Boy Blue) from his debut album is arranged completely differently. The unreleased song "That's A Promise" with its tight rock guitar sound and the early demo version of the famous song "Love You Till Tuesday" are all valuable sources that foreshadow Bowie's later career.

The collection also includes rare sound sources that collectors are looking for, such as "I Pity The Fool" with different lyrics and "You've Got A Habit Of Leaving" with a different guitar solo between the interlude and ending.

David Bowie, a rare genius artist who colored the era of rock music, spent an unfortunate period of his life. However, there was a sparkling talent left in him.

The Japanese commentary on the situation, episodes, and song titles of the time is included on the inside cover.
