Flutist Cocomi, who made her debut in 2022 on the prestigious New York label DECCAGOLD, will celebrate the fifth anniversary of her debut in 2026. This is her fifth album. The year 2026 marks the 270th anniversary of Mozart’s birth. This album features the complete set of Mozart’s *Flute Quartets*, which Cocomi describes as works that allow listeners to savor the composer’s diverse musical expressions. These are masterpieces of chamber music in which the flute’s beautiful melodies blend seamlessly with the rich tones of the violin, viola, and cello. Joining her are violinist Ryota Higashi, who won first prize at the 88th Japan Music Competition and is active in a wide range of roles—including as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest orchestral performer—and who also performed the role of the protagonist, Kazuto Aono, in the anime *Blue Orchestra*; Ena Nakae, who has garnered international acclaim as the violist of Quartet Amabile and is also known as the former principal violist of the New Japan Philharmonic; and cellist Yutaka Yabe, who won second prize at the Japan Music Competition, first prize at the All-Japan Student Music Competition, and a member of the NHK Symphony Orchestra.
