Gardner & Bergen Philharmonic's Second Nielsen Symphony is "Symphony No. 3 No. 3" called "Nielsen's Countryside Symphony" and "Flute Concerto" with Adam Walker as soloist. The second Nielsen cycle by Edward Gardner, who has been the Chief Conductor of the prestigious Norwegian orchestra, the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra since 2015 and will be the Chief Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra from 2021! The program features "Symphony No. 3" as the main work, "Flute Concerto" with the virtuoso Adam Walker, former principal flutist of the London Symphony Orchestra, as soloist, and "Pan and Syrranks." The Symphony No. 3 was composed between 1910 and 1911, and features a soprano and baritone soloist in the second movement.
