After studying at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, she moved to the United States in 1997 and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. She has showcased her keen musicality and outstanding talent at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, as well as throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Shine Wang also delivered a superb performance of the Argentine piece, Ginastera’s Piano Concerto No. 2 (CHAN10923). Now, she presents a solo album featuring the works of Spain’s Enrique Granados! Centered on “Goyescas,” a masterpiece that vividly reflects Granados’ genius, she brings Granados’ piano works—which employ advanced technique and complex musical language—to life with poetic and richly colorful piano playing.
