Mac Miller passed away suddenly in September 2018. His untimely death, just after releasing his new album "SWIMMING" the previous month, sent shockwaves throughout the music scene as well as the RAP/HIPHOP scene. In 2020, his family announced the release of "CIRCLES," Mac Miller's sixth and final album. CIRCLES" was originally intended to be released as a sister album to "SWIMMING". John Bryon, who produced the album with Mac Miller until shortly before his death, has done a wonderful job on the album. According to Miller's family, he intended "SWIMMING" and "CIRCLES" to be a pair of works, with the concept of the two different styles complementing each other, "swimming in circles.John Bryon, who has worked with a wide range of artists from Fiona Apple to Brad Meldor to Frank Ocean and produced "SWIMMING," completed "CIRCLES" based on his time spent with Mack before his death and conversations with him. John Bryon was a co-producer of "CIRCLES" with Mack. Bryon, who is listed with Mack as a co-producer on the album, has made no compromises with Mack's vision for the songs.
