The "Neil Young Archive" series is a grand series that unravels his precious sound sources in chronological order, as he continues to release a vast number of works.In 2009, he released the first volume, "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. I (1963-1972)" (which sold out soon after its release, so only the 8-CD box set was reissued in 2023, over 10 years after its release), and in 2021, he released the second volume In 2021, he released the second volume, the 10-CD set "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. II (1972-1976)", and now he brings us the latest in the series, "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. III (1976-1987)"! This 17-CD box set, the largest-ever, chronicles the artist's extensive 11-year journey from 1976 to 1987, capturing the landscape of a man who never stopped moving forward on his own unique musical journey.
