Klangforum Wien explores Poland's contemporary music scene! This is a collection of works for chamber music and orchestra by the Polish contemporary composer Marcin Stanczyk (1971-). He studied at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome and IRCAM in Paris, and has won more than 10 international competitions for composers in Poland, France, Italy, Germany, the United States, the Netherlands, Romania, Japan, China, and in 2013 was awarded first prize at the Toru Takemitsu Composition Prize. He is one of the most versatile and original Polish composers of our time, and along with Agata Zubel, is the most internationally acclaimed composer of our time.
