This documentary, which traces his life, features rehearsal and performance footage of works by Kodály, Smetana, Dukas, and Mozart—whose operas and symphonies earned high acclaim—interwoven with interviews from artists who frequently collaborated with Fritschay, including Tamás Vásáry, Kurt Masur, Yehudi Menuhin, and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau—all of whom performed with Fritschai on numerous occasions.
