Miguel is a talented R&B singer-songwriter from California, USA, with Mexican and African heritage. He made his debut in 2010 with the album *All I Want Is You*. His 2012 album *Kaleidoscope Dream* earned him five Grammy Award nominations, including “Song of the Year,” and he won “Best R&B Song” for the single “Adore.” Even before his debut, he had been contributing as a songwriter to Usher’s albums, allowing his talent as a singer-songwriter to blossom. Alicia Keys also recognized his extraordinary talent, and they co-produced the song “Where’s the Fun in Forever.” In addition to co-writing songs for Beyoncé’s “Rocket” and Santana’s 's “Corazón,” and established hip-hop rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole have participated in remixes of his tracks—the calls for collaboration from fellow artists have been nonstop. In 2013, he also appeared on Mariah Carey’s single “#Beautiful feat. Miguel.” That track reached No. 3 on the U.S. singles chart, and a host of distinguished artists have highly praised his extraordinary talent. He is revered not only as a Grammy-winning artist but also as “the artist other artists fall in love with” by music fans around the world. This new album marks his first release in about two years since his previous work, and the lead single, “Skywalker ft. Travis Scott,” is an urban track produced by Happy Perez—the popular producer behind Kanye West’s “Power” as well as works by Frank Ocean and G-Eazy. The album also features a lineup of talented artists, including J. Cole and Salam Remi.
