Mob Deep’s Prodigy’s 2000 smash hit single “KeepItThoro” is being reissued on a picture LP featuring a portrait of Prodigy! The Prodigy, who passed away suddenly in 2017 at the young age of 42, burst onto the 1990s hip-hop scene in Queens, New York, as part of “Mob Deep” alongside his longtime friend Havoc, whom he’d known since high school. They released albums that have gone down in hip-hop history and had a profound influence on contemporary hip-hop. This release features “Keep It Thoro,” a massive hit single from Prodigy’s first solo album, *H.N.I.C.* (2000). In addition to the a cappella version, it includes a remix version he created with Havoc as “Mob Deep.”
