Roy Orbison's biggest hits, "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Crying," "Only the Lonely," and other fan favorites are selected and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the UK's leading orchestras, combined with Roy's original vocals. Roy's original vocals are combined with a performance recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the UK's leading orchestras. In addition to the orchestra, Roy's sons Wesley (guitar), Roy Jr. (guitar), and Alex (drums), and his 10-month-old grandson Roy III (guitar and tambourine) provide backing on some of the songs. The songs on the album are from Roy Orbison's early to mid-1960s tenure with the Monument label, which reached its first commercial peak ("In Dreams," "Blue Angel," "Crying," "Dream Baby," "I'm Heartin'," "It's Over," " Mean Woman Blues," "Only the Lonely," "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Love Hearts," and "Uptown"), and even in the late '80s, when he died suddenly ("You Got It," "I Draw All Night," " A Love So Beautiful"). Produced by Don Readman and Nick Patrick. The same people who worked on the smash hits If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2015) and Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2016) The orchestral parts were recorded at Studio 2 on Abbey Road in London (where all Beatles albums were recorded after 1964), while Roy's sons recorded their parts at Black River Studios in Nashville, which their father once owned. The eternal Velvet Voice is brought back to life today with the sound of an orchestra! The voice of Elvis before his death is brought back to life with the sound of an orchestra! This is the third Christmas album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, which was a big hit.
