Included in the book are the most important songs selected by Bruce Springsteen himself, as well as 5 rare and previously unreleased songs from before his debut, and the first recording of his life at the age of 16! In conjunction with the release of "Born To Run," the autobiography of Bruce Springsteen, the "BOSS" of rock music, Springsteen released "Chapters & Verse" on September 23, his 67th birthday, which is the first time he wrote about his life. Springsteen himself selected the important works in his own history, the works that became turning points, following the flow of his autobiography. The album will also include five rare and completely unreleased songs from before his debut, which have never been released before. One of the songs is the "first" recording of Springsteen's musical career by The Castiles, the band he first formed as a student at the very beginning of his musical career. At the age of 16, on May 18, 1966, "Baby I," recorded in his hometown as an independent production, finally saw the light of day.It begins with two songs from The Castiles and includes a total of 18 songs up to the title track from their 2012 album Wrecking Ball. Also included are tracks from his pre-debut bands Steel Mill and The Bruce Springsteen Band, as well as his solo demos "Henry Boy" and "Growin' Up. This is truly a "musical autobiography," as the story unfolds in a way that links with the autobiography book, with key songs from the beginning of Springsteen's musical history and his journey to success with The E Street Band.
