In this opera, all the characters are vividly portrayed in a mythical world where gods and mortals are intermingled, and the famous singer Frederica von Stade sings the role of Queen Penelope, who has been waiting for her husband Ulysses, who has not returned for 20 years. Ulysses, who has been transformed into an old man, is played with great presence by Stillwell. 24-bit remastering from the original analog masters.
