Fourth in the 0th Anniversary Series! This is the 30th anniversary edition of "Turbo", the most pop and glamorous hit album in Judas Priest's history! The 10th album "Turbo" was released in April 1986, when Priest was at the peak of its popularity. The album was a Top 20 hit in the U.S. and went platinum (for the third consecutive album). The album was controversial among fans of the traditional metal sound because of its bold introduction of guitar synthesizers, which had been a model of British heavy metal up to that point. However, despite the controversy, the modernization of the album by skillfully incorporating the trends of MTV, the most important media at the time, and the US rock scene was successful, and it is an important work that succeeded in gaining a wider popular appeal (especially among female fans). It can be said that this album allowed the band to survive the late 1980s, when the flashy, glitzy, pop-oriented LA metal bands were on the rise. Popular songs from this album are "Turbo Lover" and "Locked In.In particular, "Turbo Lover" has been played on every tour in recent years and has become a standard chorus song due to its catchy melody. This is a remastered version to commemorate the 30th anniversary of "Turbo".
