2015 recording by the French high-quality sound label Fondamenta Vladimir Trop!Born in Moscow in 1939, Vladimir Trop is a master of Russian pianism, known as one of the best teachers at the Gnesin Music Academy. Trop is also the vice president of the Rachmaninoff Society and a board member of the Russian Scriabin Society. A captivating recital program of Scriabin, Metonel, and Rachmaninoff, chosen especially from the well-established Russian music. Scriabin's Nocturnes & Mazurkas and Rachmaninoff's Preludes were performed at the Yamaha Hall in Japan in October 2017, while Scriabin and Metonel were also included on the 1997 recording that won the Record Academy Award, making them truly repertoire of the highest caliber. In addition to the "Fidelity CD" mastered for hi-fi audio, this album includes two bonus discs, the "Mobility CD" mastered for computer and car audio (identical content). Tokyo M-Plus
