Hermanos Gutierrez, a brother duo with roots in Switzerland and Ecuador, are releasing their first new album in two years on colored vinyl! The album was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Recorded at Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, this 10-track album weaves the brothers’ signature cinematic guitar sound more deeply into their South American roots than ever before. Shifting their focus from the vast landscapes reminiscent of the American West to incorporate the rhythms and tones of the Andes, they’ve crafted a new sonic palette that vividly reflects the cultures and influences of the continent that shaped them. Alejandro had this to say about the album: “This album is a love letter to South America. We want to take listeners on another journey—this time through the Andes. We’d be thrilled if it sparked their interest in this culture and this region.” Estevan and Alejandro, who have released six albums over the past decade, have built a unique musical style centered on their harmonious guitar ensemble, blending Latin music, surf music, Western, and melancholy. On *Los Ojos Del Condor*, their sound returns to its roots. In addition to the roots of their mother’s homeland, Ecuador, and their great-grandmother’s native Peru, they draw significant influence from Argentine milongas and Peruvian and Colombian cumbias. The brothers took the album title from this track. Alejandro explains the reason as follows: “When you think of birds of the Andes, you think of the condor.
