The Tedeski Trucks Band (TTB), one of America's premier live bands and Grammy Award winners, releases their sixth studio album! The 11-track album, 'Future Soul', was produced by Mike Elizondo, who has worked with Twenty One Pilots, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Carrie Underwood, and others, and co-produced with Derek Trucks. It was recorded at Swamp Raga Recording in Jacksonville, Florida, and Phantom Studios in Gallatin, Tennessee. Following their 2022 conceptual four-part album 'I Am The Moon' and the 2025 live release 'Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (LIVE AT LOCKN')' (featuring Leon Russell), this album stands as TTB's most heartfelt, sincere, and uniquely collaborative collection to date. Most of the songwriting was done by Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Mike Mathison, Gabe Dixon, and Tyler Greenwell, and the album naturally blends a variety of musical elements, including funk, rock 'n' roll, blues, soul, and punk. There are high expectations for Future Soul, and it lives up to them. The Tedeschi Trucks Band's studio debut, Revelator, won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. Their 2018 live album, Live From the Fox Oakland, was nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Since forming in 2010, TTB has received multiple Americana Music Award nominations and won Band of the Year at the Blues Music Awards in 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2023. They have sold out multiple shows at Madison Square Garden and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.In 2024, NPR hailed them as "two of the finest roots rock musicians of their generation." In 2025, the entire band performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, delivering an all-star set honoring their greatest influence, Joe Cocker (featuring guests including Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, Chris Robinson, and Teddy Swims).
