Three years after their last album "Second Nature", which was critically acclaimed by the music and entertainment media, their fourth studio album is self-produced and self-titled! The band's fourth studio album was produced by the band themselves (Dan Molad) and recorded at Sounds Like a Fire Studios, Altamira Sound in Los Angeles. Collaborators include Adam Granduciel (#7) of The War on Drugs, Taylor Goldsmith (#5) of Dawes, Madison Cunningham (#8), Ethan Gruska (#8), Luke Temple (electric guitar, #3), Rob Moose (strings, #11), and Evan Smith (flute, #11) also contribute color to the album. The latest advance single, "Gold Rush," is a simple but addictive and superb pop song that does not disappoint, featuring the captivating voices of Jess and Holly. Recorded by the four band members together in their home studio, the song is about life and relationships, and is a slice of their own life, a return to their beginnings and an honest look at their own lives. The members have also found mates, started families, created gardens, and begun to put down roots.While working on the album, he witnessed the beginning and the end of life = the beauty and transience of living as a human being. That is why he feels this work deserves a self-title. He also hears the voice of the dog he started to buy when he listens. ■Disc comes in opaque pink color vinyl (dull pink)
