Nathaniel Rateliff is a folk singer from Missouri, an inland U.S. state located along the Mississippi River, who formed a five-piece folk rock band in 2005 under the name Nathaniel Rateliff (formerly Nathaniel Rateliff & The Wheels) with Rateliff at the core. In 2010, the band released its debut album, "In Memory Loss," and made a name for itself in the folk-rock world. While continuing the band under the name Nathaniel Rateliff, the newly formed Nathaniel Rateliff and the Swets released their self-titled album in August!
