The second fantasy record from Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, led by Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson and co-producer of the music for the hit movie "Ally: Birth of a Star," is now available. The recording was co-produced by Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and John Alagiah at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu and Village Studios in LA. The band consisted of Corey McCormick (b), Anthony Logarfo (ds), Tato Melgar (perc), Logan Metz (g, vo, etc), and Lucas Nelson (vo, g). In the small amount of time between tours, they recorded about 30 original songs one after another. They recorded the band's performances as is on analog tape, kept overdubs to a minimum, and focused on the live performance. Many of their friends and family members participated on vocals and additional instruments.Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Micah Nelson, Kesha, Shooter Jennings, Randy Hauser to Lucious, Madison Ryan Ward, Hunter Elizabeth, and Neil Young.
