The Folk Improvisation, a project consisting of Lou Barlow and his partner John Davis, who have played in indie bands such as Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh, have reunited after 23 years to release a gorgeous reissue of "Music For Kids," the soundtrack to the legendary 1995 cult film "KIDS. KIDS", the soundtrack to the legendary 1995 cult film "Kids". Almost 30 years after the shocking release of "Kids," the unique coming-of-age film created by Harmony Korine and Larry Clark that candidly depicted the lives of New York City street kids, the deluxe reissue of "Music For Kids" includes 18 songs. All songs written for the film have been newly remastered, including the single "Natural One," which reached the U.S. Top 40, as well as B-side songs and unreleased tracks.Also included are remixes by UNKLE (James Lavelle and DJ Shadow) and the Dust Brothers, as well as an instrumental version of "Nothing Gonna Stop"!
