Utena Kobayashi, known for her work with Oni's right hand man, and NYC electronic musician Motion Graphics have released a collaborative 12"! Kuniyuki Takahashi, who has been making headlines with his live collaboration with Floating Points, also joins the collaboration as a remixer! NYC-based electronic musician Motion Graphics, who has remixed Ryuichi Sakamoto's music, participated in FKA Twigs' album, and even took part in Japanese graphic artist YOSHIROTTEN's installation, has collaborated with Utena Kobayashi, a multi-instrumentalist known for her work as the right hand of the devil. Motion Grashics has released a collaborative 12" with Utena Kobayashi, a multi-instrumentalist also known as Oni's right-hand man! The EP is a digest of influences from Japanese ambient/new age pop such as Dip in the Pool and Yasuaki Shimizu, and is finished off with a contemporary texture. Joe Williams and Utena Kobayashi completed their cross-continental collaboration "Glossolalia" without ever working in the same space.The EP will also include remixes by Portland ambient/new age duo Visible Clorx and KUNIYUKI TAKAHASHI, a treasure of the Japanese electronic music scene.
