Deathture, the reunion of the three members after their solo careers, has released its first new album in three years. The first single, "Lose My Breath," produced by Rodney Jerkins, was the band's first attempt to surpass the momentum of their last album, "Survivor," which was even hailed as their "strongest to date. The album is, surprisingly, modest in its vigor. Although the first half of the album is filled with Rodney's songs and Rich Harrison-produced songs with T.I. and Lil Wayne, the songs produced by Dre & Vidal and Beyonce's soul songs with 9th Wonder and Rock Wilder are more melodious. Michelle's brother Elon Williams and Mario Winans also helped out, and the customary gospel song (produced by Pajam) was sung beautifully. The inclusion of a solo song by Kelly and more lead work by Michelle highlights each member of the band more than ever.
