Rock 'n' Roll by 21-year-old Elvis Presley in 2010. The King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley, recorded a new album for the first time in 33 years! Elvis, the King of Rock 'n' Roll, has had a tremendous influence on artists. In 2010, the 75th anniversary of his birth, Elvis Presley Enterprises and Cirque du Soleil's "Viva ELVIS" in Las Vegas collaborated to create a new album based on the concept, "If a 21-year-old Elvis made a new album in the 21st century, this is the sound he would have created. The album was produced based on the concept of "what a 21-year-old Elvis must have sounded like when he made a new album in the 21st century," using a completely new methodology (keeping Elvis's vocal tracks while innovatively creating a new sound) to celebrate Elvis and his music in the 21st century. The process involved over 3,000 hours of listening to Elvis' countless albums, films, live recordings, interviews, etc., and sampling over 17,000 songs. Produced by Hugo Bombadire & Erich Letourneau, music producers for Cirque du Soleil.This work is completed as a bridge to connect Elvis' music to future generations. The songs included in the album are truly a selection of Elvis's best.
