The first 16 titles in the series range from historic masterpieces such as R. Strauss’s *Thus Spoke Zarathustra*, conducted by Reiner with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Horowitz’s collection of Beethoven piano sonatas (RCA recordings from 1956–59), to to Perahia’s performances of Schumann and Grieg’s piano concertos with Colin Davis, and Issalis and Norrington’s Haydn Cello Concerto—encompassing numerous recordings now available for the first time at budget prices.
