This is a sequel to the German Baroque Cantatas Vol. 1 (88697225032), which was recorded with works by the same composer as this album. Stéphane MacLeod studied voice at the Geneva Conservatory and further studied at the Cologne Conservatory. He then joined Michel Corbo's Lausanne vocal instrumental ensemble as a soloist for many years. Today she is a soloist with the Herreweghe, Gardiner, Brüchen, Leonhardt, and Holland Bach Society, and her repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to modern and contemporary music. He has also participated in performances on over 50 CDs, and has received high acclaim for his performances with Masaaki Suzuki & BCJ, as well as for his visit to Japan for the "Day of Enthusiasm". Re-Angélie Geneve is a small vocal instrumental ensemble founded by McLeod in 2003, employing baroque specialist soloists and chamber musicians, whose passion and research integrity guarantee the freshness of their music. ---
