To commemorate this occasion, this box set compiles a comprehensive collection of Chopin’s major works—featuring nothing but legendary performances—drawn from the RCA and Sony catalogs. It includes performances by masters of Chopin’s music such as Rubinstein, as well as Kissin and Kliber. It also includes a reissue of a rare, out-of-print recording by Katsaris, who delivered his finest performance at the time of this recording. The collection offers a wide range of performances, including Ax’s playing on period instruments. Please note that this is a limited-edition release.
