This release fully demonstrates the special qualities of the SACD format.The Luke Church, where the recording was made, is a place with rich reverberation, and although the acoustic composition differs slightly from label to label, the recording by Berlin Classics (ETERNA) is not overly reverberant, but rather emphasizes the texture of the instruments of the time, the base sound, to achieve a well-balanced sound as a whole.
