Originally released in 1986, World Of Echo is his first full-length non-collaborative work, in which he attempted to achieve "the most vivid rhythmic reality" using only his cello, voice, and echoes. While his career has been built on the dance music side, including disco and garage, this is a masterpiece that has defined his reputation as a contemporary musician, with its tape echoes, claps, and other textural resonances, its vocal framework, and its pursuit of personal expression as a cellist. This is the first reissue in 7 years with remastered sound + 4 additional bonus tracks!
