DOROTHY CARTER, a New York multi-instrumentalist / SSW with dulcimer, hurdy-gurdy, zither, recorder, etc., has released his 1978 folk / psych / drone masterpiece "WAILLEE WAILLEE" on first CD / LP reissue on PLATO FLATS! This is the first CD/LP reissue on PLATO FLATS of WAILLEE WAILLEE, a 1978 folk/psychedelic/drone masterpiece inspired by KAREN DALTON, LARAAJI, and HENRY FLYNT, and produced with a full band. The deep and mysterious drones created by DOROTHY's dulcimer and BOB RUTMAN's bowed steel cello are exceptional. The sound was remastered from master tapes discovered at RUTMAN's studio in Berlin some years after its release, and the result is a masterpiece that has the same appeal as KAREN DALTON, LARAAJI, ALICE COLTRANE, SANDY DENNY, and even GROUPER. This is a long-awaited reissue!
