Description:
The Stuttgart Chamber Choir, led by Bernius, recorded the genius Mendelssohn and "Te Deum", a product of his Berlin period! The Stuttgart Chamber Choir, led by Frieder Bernius, one of the most famous conductors in the German choral world, recorded Mendelssohn! Mendelssohn acquired a wide repertoire of choral and religious music at the Zingakademie, which he joined during his teenage years in Berlin. Mendelssohn was familiar with Handel, Linney, and Caldara's "Te Deum," which was also sung by the Zingakademie, and composed this work based on 12 texts, which, along with "The Time Is Now," is a masterpiece that encapsulates what he learned at the Zingakademie. The tenor solo Ave Maria is also a sublime work sung with organ accompaniment. You will enjoy the high quality of the performance heard in the singing of this famous group. King International
