The Atrium String Quartet, currently based in Berlin, recorded Brahms and Tchaikovsky's String Quartet No. 1 at St. Petersburg's Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Catherine, where they lived at the same time. The quartet was formed in 2000 by four students of Joseph Levinson from the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music, who studied with him.
