A half-German, half-Italian native of Hamburg, he possesses a cosmopolitan musical sensibility, having mastered Russian pianism under Vladimir Krainev and Dmitry Alexeev. In particular, his Germanic sense of structure and Italian sense of melody are reminiscent of his great predecessor, Busoni. His bold, virtuosic technique—so characteristic of Liszt—is also exhilarating. He is a rising star who is sure to become a favorite in Japan as well. King International
