In 2008, at the age of 30, he was appointed music director of the Orchestre National de la Capitole de Toulouse, and has continued to make his presence felt through guest appearances with many of the world's most prestigious orchestras. This video is a very innovative filming of a concert that took place in June 2015 at a former power plant in Berlin. A camera mounted on a 13-meter crane continuously filmed above the orchestra. The camera succeeds in capturing the inside of the orchestra, that moment when the music is created, and incorporating the perspective of the performers of each instrument.Thus, the camera does not stand still until the end of the concert, allowing the audience to concentrate on the video without disrupting the flow of the music. Sohiyev is very interested in new technologies, and although the orchestra has a long tradition, many of its members are young and willing to take on the challenge of creating such a challenging video work.
