Bright and fresh! A collection of violin works by female composers! A collection of violin pieces by female composers by two soloists active in Italy. The overall atmosphere of the music is gentle, but there are some pieces that are spiced up from time to time, making the album more complete. The soloists were excellent in their own time, so all of the pieces have a strong content, and they all know their violins very well. This is a refreshing album with a cheerful mood. Maria Concetta Annese was born in Bari, Italy in 1995. She has studied extensively in violin, piano, and voice, and will graduate summa cum laude from the Violin Department of the Pizzini Conservatory in 2016. She studied violin with Sonig Chakerian, Felix Ayo, Massimo Quartal, and others. Wu Yi-ling was born in Taiwan and started playing the piano at the age of 3. She has been active in master classes with Murray Peraia, Emmanuel Ax, Michel Beloff, and others, as well as participating in various music festivals. Tobu Shoji Co.
