JGUTMANCD173/GUTMANCD173) and No. 9 ( JGUTMANCD150/GUTMANCD150) in small ensemble arrangements, Camerata RCO now releases Bruckner's Symphony No. 6! The Camerata RCO is an ensemble composed of members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (RCO), one of the world's finest orchestras. The version to be performed in this concert is an arrangement by Rolf Verbeek himself, who conducts the ensemble. As in the previous Symphony No. 7, the ten-member ensemble includes one string quintet each, clarinet, horn, timpani, piano, and accordion. The members of the RCO, who together with Baynum, Jochum, Haitink, and others have established a long tradition of Bruckner performance, will mark a new page in the history of "Bull 6" performance.Rolf Verbeek, born in 1989, who conducted and arranged this year's concert, has frequently collaborated with Camerata RCO as their permanent guest conductor since 2019 and has also made several arrangements for them. He has conducted many major orchestras in the Netherlands, and outside the country he has held assistant conducting positions with a number of leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, and the French Radio Philharmonic. As a freelance horn player, he has also made guest appearances with several orchestras and has worked with renowned conductors such as Ed de Waart, Markus Stenz, Jaap van Zweden, and Neeme Järvi.
