Formed in 1993 around Mark Robertson (keyboards)—who was also known as the “American Keith Emerson”—this North American progressive/ symphonic rock band formed in 1993, centered around Mark Robertson (key), who was also known as the “American Keith Emerson.” After releasing three albums, the band disbanded in 2001. Their 1994 debut album, originally released by the U.S. label Magna Carta, is being released on vinyl for the first time in 2026 by Construction Records in the Netherlands, featuring additional bonus tracks! This is a 2-LP set on 180g purple-colored vinyl. While the epic track “Ruins At Avalon’s Gate”—which runs over 20 minutes—features a notable homage to ELP, the equally 10-minute-long “Season of the Heart” and “Silent Winter” showcase the dramatic, tight, 90s-style aggression, sharpness, and hard-edged & edgy American prog sound heard in the equally 10-minute-long “Season Of The Heart” and “Silent Winter” is exhilarating. The overall quality and level of craftsmanship are exceptionally high, and this is a masterpiece that reconstructs classic ’70s prog with the unique dynamism of the ’90s—often cited as a representative work of American prog from that era! As bonus tracks, Disc 2: SIDE B features previously unreleased 1992 demo recordings of the tracks “Season Of The Heart” and “Silent Winter” from this album.
