Schoenberg's chamber orchestral works This CD is a collection of Schoenberg's chamber orchestral works, including his famous Chamber Symphony No. 1 as the original, and other arrangements, including his own. The original is the famous Chamber Symphony No. 1, and the other arrangements include Schoenberg's own works. It is common that the novelty of modern large orchestral works stands out when they are arranged in a reduced form, and here, too, the avant-garde of Schoenberg a hundred or so years ago is conveyed with pleasant stimulation. Zurabinger is a young conductor born in 1984 in Vienna. A longtime assistant to Ingo Metzmacher, he himself specializes in 20th century music; in 2018 he conducted Zimmermann's "The Soldiers" at the Teatro Real in Madrid to great acclaim and has since been active in opera houses across Europe.
