This overwhelming work is a crystallization of the universal and fundamental beauty of art, which makes us wonder what it means to be creative, what imagination is, and why people weave music. Sam Gendel has released "Live a Little," a work recorded with an 11-year-old girl, Antonia Citrinovich. This piece was recorded at Sam Gendel's home on a late summer afternoon, and was an improvised piece that began spontaneously, without any planning or discussion of "creating a piece," and ended when he ran out of ideas and thought it was finished (he added one to three parts to the recording and finished it). and finished it when she thought it was finished).
