US/Milwaukee KBD/obscure punks HASKELS are back with their first remastered '80 EP, as well as a collection of previously unreleased demos and live tracks on CD and LP, an archival work that is sure to cause agony. Although obscure punk, "HASKELS" was released on SPLUNGE COMMUNICATIONS in 2019 and became a hot topic in Japan, selling out in the blink of an eye and even being pressed a second time. Until now, I had only heard four songs from the excellent EP "Taking The City By Storm" released in 1980, but listening to them all together again, I can see the depth of their nostalgia. This is killer punk, as good as the great hometown power-pop legends SHIVVERS. The previous collection of unrecorded material consisted mainly of material recorded in 1979, but this album seems to use material from '80 to '82, from the time when the three of them recorded the classic EP. Release. 14 songs in total. 14 tracks in total.
