Aimee Nubiola, a world-renowned singer from Cuba, has released a new album, "Feelin' the Feeling"! Aimee Nubiola has grown to become one of Latin America's leading singers, winning a Latin Grammy. Her long-awaited new album is dedicated to her hometown of Havana, Cuba. This time, Nubiola co-produced the album with Kemuel Roig, one of the hottest pianists in the world today. The repertoire is a selection of the best of Cuban "feelin" music, which flourished from the beginning to the middle of the 20th century. Firin is a movement similar to bossa nova in Brazil, which was influenced by jazz vocals and Debussy, as well as by traditional Cuban music such as son and bolero. It is a genre that became known to a wide range of music fans in Japan with the reissue of works by Jose Antonio Mendes.With Mendez at the helm, the band chooses songs by writers such as Frank Hernandez, Cesar Portillo de la Luz, and Niño Rivera.
