Howlin' Wolf", a cornerstone of Chicago Blues, is reissued in 180g vinyl with 6 bonus tracks, focusing on "Little Red Rooster", a classic song by Howlin' Wolf, a bluesman who howled like a wolf! This 180g vinyl reissue of Howlin' Wolf's second album "Howlin' Wolf", originally released on the prestigious blues label Chess Records in 1962, features six bonus tracks and is a reissue of the classic "Howlin' Wolf" album. In addition to the songs from the classic "Howlin' Wolf" album, the album includes 6 bonus tracks for a total of 18 tracks. This album is named after the title of the song "The Red Rooster" from Howlin' Wolf's second album "Howlin' Wolf," and the contents are a reworking of that album. The album is widely recognized as one of the cornerstones of Chicago blues and one of Howlin' Wolf's most beloved LPs; in 2004 it was named the third greatest guitar album of all time by Mojo magazine.The A-side features "The Red Rooster" {also known as "Little Red Rooster"}(A.2), which is also used as the title of this album. On the B-side, Wolfe shows his true value, singing in his most dynamic and unique voice ever on "Back Door Man" (B.4) and "Spoonful" (B.1), one of the greatest blues tunes of all time.
