The “Suite in C Major” by the 17th-century French composer Michel de Bétine was composed specifically for this “Angélique,” and it is arguably the perfect piece for appreciating the distinctive character of the “Angel’s Lute.” And then there is the music of the great French Baroque composers, performed by Moreno on the solo theorbo.
